In a thrilling practice match, Makerere University Futsal Club, led by Coach Douglas Bamweyana, defeated Kasanga Utd 6-3, showcasing their readiness for the upcoming international Futsal Championship in Benghazi, Libya.

The match, played at the Futsal Arena Old kampala, saw the university team dominate proceedings, with their swift passes and clever movements leaving the Kasanga Utd players struggling to keep up.

“It being an invitational tournament, we are glad of the chance that has come our way and  the boys are ready and for the past 6 weeks, they have been putting in the work and that explains the positive results out of this practice match. We are hopeful of a great performance at the tournament “ Douglas Bamweyana- Head coach 

The win boosts Makerere University's morale as they prepare to represent Uganda at the University of Benghazi's inaugural International Futsal Championship. The team will face stiff competition from top international teams, but their convincing win over Kasanga Utd suggests they are ready for the challenge.
